The refrigerator compartment is 18.5 cubic feet, which is the standard for a French-door refrigerator at this price. It also has a decent sized ice maker that is tucked away in the left door, though it's not the biggest I've seen. You can adjust the shelves in each compartment to create a custom storage setup for whatever you have to keep. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is also attractive. The LED lighting adds an appealing feature. The in-door storage bins come with a third shelf that can be folded down to store large items. The drawers are equipped with temperature controls so that you can set them to Beverage, Meat, or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, but I found their plastic textured coatings to be a little hard on the fingers. The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator in this price range. This includes Wi-Fi as well as app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and allows you to control your refrigerator from anywhere around the world. It also comes with numerous options for customizing. It also gives you notifications when doors are left open, when your fridge or freezer is in need of defrosting, and when it's time to change the filter. It would be great if GE PYE22PYNFS could offer Precise Fill which is a feature found in a few GE refrigerators that allow users to set the amount of cups they wish to disperse. The fridge shows a countdown to show you how much water remains however it's not as effective as Precise fill. Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator It is designed to look like a seamless part of your kitchen Bosch's French door refrigerator is one of a kind. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also features a veggie compartment which keeps vegetables and fruits fresher for longer and dual compressors to preserve food. The ice maker we tested is one of the most efficient and produces the shape of a pyramid using only water. This refrigerator is ideal for a single family or a kitchenette with an elegant design and top of the line food preservation. The fridge was rated the best refrigerator in our Refrigerators test for a few reasons. Its freezer temperatures held firm at just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit and never fluctuating by more than a fraction one degree. One of the nice features of this refrigerator is that its ice maker is inside the freezer, making it simple to move ice into the fridge for use when needed. The freezer features thoughtful design elements, too, like sliding drawers to help you better organize the placement of items. It also has a large bin that holds plenty of frozen food and an container for storing ice. Smart InstaView panel is a cool feature of the refrigerator. You can manage the temperature, lighting and more of your fridge from your smartphone. It's a simple method to monitor your refrigerator and control it, especially when not at home. Although the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it does not necessarily enhance the overall performance of the refrigerator. The fridge took a bit longer to defrost food and chill it than the other fridges we tried. This could be due to the larger capacity. The other issue we have with the doors of this refrigerator. They have handles that are sunken on the front that allow shorter people to easily pull them open from the bottom, but they're not easy for taller people to guide closed without slamming the doors. see this site would have been more effective if they had handles mounted on the front. The LG Counter-Depth MAX fridge is an excellent option for those looking to blend the look of a French door refrigerator with a more efficient design. It has a capacity that is superior to counter-depth models, and it cools evenly. It's also a bit cheaper than the most expensive counter depth refrigerator that comes with an ice maker, making it a desirable choice. Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a great choice for those looking for a French-door refrigerator that doesn't cost a lot of budget. It's a simple fridge which may not be as eye-catching like some of its competitors however, it does have enough features to make it a an excellent choice. Its most notable characteristic is the adjustable temperature drawer that helps keep food items such as meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also has a large water dispenser, as well as an excellent ice machine that works fast. Another feature that is worth mentioning is the “Chill Drawer” that sits over the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you divert part of the refrigerator's cooling power directly into this area, meaning you can put away food items that need extra attention. This feature is adjustable using a slider located outside the drawer. You can also set the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've found that the generic settings work better than the specific ones. In my tests, I found that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent in different parts of the fridge. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the refrigerator did not differ much from 38 degrees. This is a pretty good performance, but it doesn't quite rank among the best in our rankings. This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. The fridge can be linked with a smart thermostat to gain more precise information on the internal temperature of your fridge. The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's outside is made of grey-bodied stainless steel which has a “smudge-proof” finish. It does an excellent job of removing streaks and fingerprints even when compared to the glossier stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
